JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Supervisor assists the Program Manager in providing clinical supervision to those providing therapy and manages BA level Counselors and MA licensed-eligible staff. Provides case consultation to all staff and is responsible for clinical oversight/supervision of cases.

  • The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model and the Full-Service Partnership (FSP) model associated with the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA). Each of these models provides services available 24 hours per day,365 days per year, doing "Whatever It Takes".
  • Provide individual, triadic, and group clinical supervision to staff providing therapy
  • Provide case consultation, as needed
  • Read and follow all memos, directives and revised policies and procedures
  • Maintain training and knowledge in cultural competency, co-occurring and gender responsiveness, and routinely demonstrate these traits in every day work relationships
  • Promote workplace safety among clients and staff
  • Review progress notes and treatment plans periodically in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and provide feedback to Program Manager and/or Vice President
  • Attend all required trainings including Cerner Training, as needed
  • Maintain current in the field of Mental Health by attending relevant workshops, seminars, discussions, and classes.
  • Comply with all MHS and program rules, policies and procedures including HIPAA standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Licensed within the State of CA as a LCSW, MFT, Ph.D. or equivalent; Ability to provide BBS Clinical Supervision
  • Minimum of two years providing clinical supervision
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software
  • Ability to problem solve and react appropriately to emergency situations
  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team
  • Ability to maintain effective therapeutic and social boundaries
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both in writing and orally, with employees, management and co-workers
  • Highly organized, thorough and able to self-monitor work for quality
  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, timely respond to management, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
