Job Summary

The Clean Team Member is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and maintaining all public and back areas of the Fitness Center during hours of operation. This person will ensure all areas for guests use are sanitized, cleaned, and any safety concerns are reported immediately to appropriate parties to prepare the Fitness Center for guest enjoyment throughout the day. The Clean Team Member will maintain, clean and sanitize all areas, including such duties as mopping, dusting, and trash removal. May complete duties related to grounds keeping and other related responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be on time for your shift.
• Maintain meticulously clean locker rooms, wet areas, showers, restrooms, dressing rooms, sink and vanity areas, and guest lounge areas.
• Vacuum all carpet areas following protocols and paying close attention to detail such as corners and under furniture
• Ensure all areas for guests use are sanitized, clean, and any safety concerns are reported immediately to appropriate parties to prepare the Spa for guest enjoyment throughout the day
• Empty trash receptacles in the appropriate place.
• Sanitize touch point areas
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Ensure that the gym is clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of all areas and equipment. May perform wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, painting, vacuuming, seasonal activities, and general cleaning.
• Records and reports all needed repairs.
• Safeguards building and property security during shift and reports incidents and hazardous conditions to General Manager.

Areas of the club the Clean Team Member is responsible for the maintenance of (but are not limited to):

• Locker room cleanliness and sanitation - showers, toilets, vanity, floors, walls and partitions.
• Equipment cleanliness
• Cardio machines
• Floors, railings, stairs, walls - overall cleanliness
• Functional training area
• Lobby
• Some office areas
• Some high dusting
