Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive all incoming documents and input the information into the J.I.M.S./JWEB systems.
  • Assess fees, issue service when necessary, and provide accurate record searches according to the Texas Rules of Court.

Requirements

Qualifying applicants must complete the Harris County District Clerk Skills Test (linked below) with a minimum score of 80%.

Education:
  • High school diploma or GED. equivalent from an accredited educational institution

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Testing will be required
  • Must possess computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
  • Must be able to maneuver, including lifting a minimum of thirty (30) pounds
  • Must be eligible for employment in the United States

General Information

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
  • Regular Full-time
  • Monday-Friday | 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
    • Hours may be subject to change
    • Must be able to work overtime with short notice
Salary:
  • $15.00 - $20.98/ Hourly
  • $2,600.00 - $3,636.53/ Monthly
  • Bsed on 26 pay periods
  • Commensurate with skills; plus benefits

Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen.
