City Buns, located in West Chester, PA, is seeking team members who can assist in bakery bun production including rolling buns, prepping ingredients, baking buns, and icing buns while maintaining kitchen cleanliness standards. Our team members wear many hats and will have the opportunity to assist customers, work as a cashier, and serve piping hot buns and coffee as well as help out with dishwashing and restocking the front of the house.

Duties

Detailed job duties include:

• Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including measuring and mixing ingredients
• Operating commercial baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and sheeters
• Ensuring product quality and consistency
• Assisting with dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers
• Front of House Responsibilities including preparing Coffee, Taking customer orders, Using the POS system, serving buns, and explaining menu items
• Dish washing through out the day

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus, but not required.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
• Must be available and willing to work daytime, weekends and holidays (if necessary).
• 1-3 years of related experience, bakery experience is an added bonus but not required
• Must be able to multi task, be self motivated, outgoing and friendly
