Job description

Delmar Primary Care Associates is seeking a professional, proficient, and friendly medical assistant to come and grow with a rapidly growing medical practice. The person who fills this position will be smart, a quick learner, capable of running the front with ease, can easily adapt to using an electronic medical record, and not easily flustered. The candidate must be capable of answering phones and handling patient clinical issues, working with other medical offices, scheduling patient visits, and doing patient referrals. The candidate must also have good phlebotomy experience and skills, as occasionally will have to function in this capacity whenever the phlebotomist is busy or out of the office.

The candidate must be a certified medical assistant with 2+ years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital. Someone with a high level of professionalism, strong customer service skills, a teachable self-starter with the eagerness to learn that has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
