HealthQuest Lapeer is looking for a certified athletic trainer that will work with Lapeer High School. This is a full-time position that requires evening and weekend hours.
Job Duties Include:
- Provide education and training focusing on injury prevention
- Provide onsite care and management of injuries
- Evaluate students as needed with ergonomic screens and musculoskeletal assessments
- Provide care during emergent & non-emergent situations
- Evaluate needs, coordinate assessments, treatment & return to work process
- Document interactions and other pertinent information
- Act as liaison between the school athletic department and PT facility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Athletic Training
- Certificate from an accredited program
- Experience with musculoskeletal injury care
- BOC certified
