What You Will Do In This Role:
- You will support and assist the Sterile Processing Manager in providing operations of the Sterile Processing department.
- You will assists in the Quality Improvement Processing of the department.
- You will perform procedures related to decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Surgical Services and Nursing units.
- You will review sterilization records and prepares reports as assigned.
- You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and assume responsibility for unit operation, in absence of the Manager.
- You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the department
What Qualifications You Will Need:
- Certification in Central Processing Required (CRST)
- Graduate of a formal Sterile Processing Technology Program required.
- 1-3 years of Sterile Processing experience is required.
