City Produce, A FreshEdge LLC company, is hiring CDL B or C Local Reefer Drivers Fort Walton Beach, FL.

City Produce started in 1958 as a retail produce store in Fort Walton Beach, FL, specializing in premium fresh fruit, vegetables, specialty foods, and dairy. At City Produce, our priority has always been to provide the highest quality products, delivered safely and on time. We provide our customers with web order entry, continuous cold chain management and peace of mind when it comes to food safety. We work every day to drive consistency in the areas most important to our customers: Customer Service, Quality, Food, Safety, Reporting, Technology. We provide daily deliveries across the panhandle in our fleet of refrigerated trucks and always strive to deliver on time, every time.

Compensation:

• Average Annual Earnings: $56,000 - $62,400+
• Base Rate: $18/hour - $23/hour (based on experience) with 40-50 average hours per week
• Overtime paid after 40 hours worked

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home Time: Home Daily
• Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
• Shift: Day shift with a typical start time of 3 am - 6am (depending on route) and until work is done
• Route:Drivers will drive around the Fort Walton Beach, FL area and surronding locations across the panhandleMust be flexible with route changes
• Routes can have 20-25 stops per day
• Level of Touch: Touch Freight loading and unloadingMust be able to lift up to 50lbs and use a dolly, pallet jack, lift-gate and ramps

Equipment:

• 16-24FT Reefer Box TrucksAll trucks are late models, never older than 5-years as new inventory is always added
• Transmission: Automatic

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL B or C license
• Drivers with a CDL A license are still encouraged to express interest
• Must have 1-year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Drivers cannot have more than 6-points on their driving record at one time
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Fort Walton Beach, FL or be willing to relocate for this position
