JOB TITLE: Catering Team Member
REPORTS TO: Assistant Catering Manager and Unit Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Revenue
PAY RATE: $17.40/hour
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing guests with excellent service and quality food in a fast, safe, and friendly manner.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate with Guests and other employees effectively.
  • Properly operate cash register in accordance with all cash handling procedures.
  • Required to pour sodas, prepare, and serve food.
  • Ensure clean and sanitary work area at all times including, but not limited to sweeping, wiping tables, picking up and disposing of trash.
  • If required to cook you must be able to properly serve and cook any needed food.
  • Foresee changes in product need and levels during peak and slow times.
  • Work in an orderly and timely fashion when cooking for guests and/or catered events.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times.
  • Must maintain proper attendance and promptness.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 16 years old to cook, and 18 years old to serve alcohol and operate baking equipment.
  • Must have excellent cash handling and customer service skills.
  • Must possess oral and written English skills and must be able to communicate with Guests and other Team Members effectively.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • You will also work closely with many different types of machinery. Extreme caution needs to be used at all times. Available to work overtime, if over 18 years of age.
  • Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Must be able to walk or stand for up to six hours a shift
  • Requires occasional kneeling and bending.
  • Requires occasional reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling.
  • Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 30 pounds.
  • Requires occasional carries up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a two-wheel hand truck.
  • Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech.
