Our Guest Experience Team Members are an create the most important part of the guest experience, through the face-to-face customer interaction. Our one-of-a-kind doughnuts can speak for themselves, but it takes an incredible front of house team member to create our customers' experience in our stores. This position will be responsible for crafting thoughtful and personalized experiences for our guests from greeting them, ringing up their order, packing their doughnuts. The Guest Experience Team Member reports to the Store Manager, and will be empowered to make their own decisions that create the best experience for our guests.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing

• Advertising doughnuts daily on social media accounts
• Creating flyers and new informational posts

A positive attitude

• Maintaining professionalism in the workplace. Balancing customer service and a great camaraderie within the company.

Customer service

• Mastering the art of knowing your customers - who your regulars are and what they order.
• Assisting customers in a happy, positive, genuine way all of the time to ensure they feel at home.
• Keeping a welcoming attitude; guiding customers through the menu to find something they like.

Attendance

• Maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality. Following the attendance policies set by Julie's Doughnuts.

Front of House

• POS + Other Applications
• Operate POS register to complete customer transactions.
• Maintaining 100% accuracy when using the POS system and handling money.
• Completing opening and closing checklists.

Quality

• Learn and maintain knowledge of our changing menu to effectively communicate all ingredients to guests.
• Neatly, and quickly, packing all donut orders.
• Checking product quality and FIFO (first in ; first out) throughout your shift; alerting supervisors whenever donuts don’t look like they meet our quality standards.
• Ensure all food on the line meets food safety and quality standards, eliminating cross-contamination on the front line.

Inventory

• Helping put away deliveries of boxes, paper goods, and other inventory items as needed when delivered.

Cleanliness

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of online-ordering (OLO).
• Set up, maintain and break down the front of house area.
• Treating your store as your home. Being able to notice the small details without anyone needing to tell you first.
• Ensuring the store is kept sparkling clean - making sure that there’s not any crumbs all over the floor.
• Wiping down counters
• Removing trash as needed and bringing to dumpster
• Sweeping & mopping floors to ensure they are clean at all times
• Adhering to all safety and health regulation policies set forth at Julie's Doughnuts.

Operating Shifts: 6 Days a Week:

Looking for a casual shift: 1 Day a week

Monday-Friday: 5:30AM-12:00PM; Saturday: 6:30AM-1:00PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
