Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse to join our team at a prestigious medical center. As a Stepdown Cardiac RN, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in a stepdown unit, with a focus on cardiac surgery patients. This position offers a 13-weeks renewable contract and involves working a rotating schedule between night and day shifts.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 1+ year(s) of specific Cardiac Surgery experience (floating experience will not be considered).
- Flexibility to float within the organization if needed.
- Active MD or Compact License at the time of submission.
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - No Exemptions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the stepdown unit, with a focus on cardiac surgery patients.
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients' conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Flexibility to float within the organization as needed.
