As our Business Development Supervisor you will…
Be responsible and accountable:
- Work with the Business Development team leader and agency subject matter experts to develop proposals, pitches, and presentations to drive business growth
- Demonstrate an understanding of the agency industry, client business needs, and internal processes and act as an important source of key intelligence on how to support agency growth
- Help qualify and document new business opportunities, including the financial viability of the account
- Initiate and manage relationships with prospect leads continuously
- Manage projects by agency procedures
- Work with the New Business team to uncover and shape strategies and help evaluate their impact on agency objectives
- Seek and consider multiple opinions and outcomes when making decisions. Then, quickly and proactively identify recommended solutions
- Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technical, and demographic factors to capitalize on the market/new business opportunities
- Work collaboratively with members of the Growth team (as well as other departments) on RFPs, meetings, presentations, etc.
- Hone your vision for how to get things done, encourage and empower other people, and proactively guide them to the desired outcome
- Nurture the career development of junior staff by mentoring and providing ongoing informal and formal performance feedback
These are the qualifications we're looking for:
- Requires 6+ years of previous professional experience
- Well-versed in the agency industry and operations
- Passionate, confident and savvy, and able to work across and beyond functional areas of expertise
- Perceived as a cross-functional role model
- Hunter/collaborator/entrepreneur mindset
- Attention to detail for all communications, internally and externally
- Solid business writing skills
- Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience utilizing Salesforce CRM, SaaS, and Marketing Automation Tools to improve sales reporting, forecasting, and outreach efficiency is a plus
