It is a dynamic data and consulting company specialized in the Healthcare Industry. We are looking for a Business Data Analyst with 5+ years of experience to work with our client implementation and data analytical team. The position is highly technical and requires a strong knowledge of SQL coding and experience with a programming language such as Python. Responsibilities include onboarding new clients, aggregating and analyzing data to improve products performance, and querying both internal and external data sources to answer business related questions. The Business Data Analyst II should have experience validating data and utilizing evidence-based decision making. This position requires both analytical and business acumen.

Reports to: Director of Data Analytics

Responsibilities:

• Onboard clients by auditing incoming data, creating/modifying data readers, testing datasets using SQL queries, and evaluating/summarizing results.
• Use analytical and problem-solving skills to answer business questions and resolve data issues.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Learn about our product suites and business processes to provide internal and external technical consulting.
• Document processes and procedures.

Business Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or in a similar technical capacity.
• Strong organizational skills and an attention to details and quality is necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of healthcare data and/or financial data.

Technical Requirements:

• Application of business and critical thinking to data analytics.
• Excellent SQL coding skills.
• Knowledge of a programming language such as Python.
• Experience with Excel for data display and summarization.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
