Summary:
This role serves as the liaison between the business and the technology team, improving the quality of technology services and analyzing business needs. The Business Analyst is responsible for enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analyzing data to inform business decisions and finding technological solutions to business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for translating business needs to technology solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects and initiatives in mind.
  • Partner with the business leaders and technology team to ensure each project meets a specific need and resolves successfully
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of software programs and hardware resources.
  • Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion
  • Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware and IT processes
  • Compile and distribute reports on application development and deployment
  • Design and execute testing procedures to extract data from test runs
  • Evaluate and draw conclusions from data related to customer behavior
  • Consult with the business and the technology team on the newest technology and its implications in the industry

PREFERRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Basic database and SQL concepts including creating/executing queries.
  • Business Process Modeling.
  • Microsoft Visio or other diagramming tool

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, or a related field required
  • Must have 1-2 years of related experience
