Shop Manager Wanted

JOB TITLE: Shop Manager

HOURS: 45-50 hours per week

SALARY: Salary plus percentage of revenue

QUICK STORY: I was having coffee with a friend recently and I was explaining how I never had time to focus on doing the thing in the business that I’M ACTUALLY GOOD AT. I shared how I am writing estimates on cars, communicating with team members and going over their vehicles (Quality control) to make sure there wasn’t any prior damage so we wouldn’t get blamed. You know important, detail oriented tasks that I MUST GET DONE but I simply don’t have time for. My friend cut me off literally 30 seconds into my moaning and said “Dude, with all the growth you’re experiencing, It’s crazy to be doing all these tasks yourself” and I stopped in my tracks and responded “Dude, you’re right.” A few days after our convo, I created and posted this job description. Long story short, we are growing faster than my Manager (Me) can keep up so now I’m looking for a like minded, kick ass human that can take over as my shop manager so I can work on my business not in it.

WHAT’S THE ROLE:

The Shop Manager is responsible for record keeping functions at Auto Hail Solutions, which include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:

• Maintaining communication with insurance companies, technicians, car detailers, glass installers and most importantly, customers, on a daily basis COMMUNICATION IS SEXY!
• Utilizing software to record damages to vehicles and create accurate estimates DETAILS MATTER!
• Collaborating with claims adjusters on damaged vehicles to ensure maximize estimates SHOW ME THE MONEY JERRY!
• Ordering parts accordingly and returning incorrect or damaged ones – may require physically going to an auto parts store PIMP YO RIDE!
• Updating and tracking workflow in management software LET’S STAY ORGANIZED!
• Keeping a clean and organized work environment OCD PEOPLE WELCOME!
• Helping transport vehicles to various locations when necessary DRIVING MISS DAISY!
• Making sure team members stay engaged and proactive to ensure maximum output DO OR DO NOT. THERE IS NO TRY!

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Attention to detail: Must be able to see small imperfections/damage on vehicles NO SLOPPY JOES OR SUSANS!
• Valid driver’s license and insurance, with no prior accidents within the last two (2) years CARS ARE EXPENSIVE!
• Strong communication and leadership skills LEAD FROM THE FRONT!
• A positive and professional demeanor SMILES AND SUITES WELCOME!
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once PRESSURE CREATES DIAMONDS!
• Be able to physically remove/disassemble parts from vehicles - such as: doors, bumper covers, exterior chrome, headliners, sunroofs, hoods or moldings ONLY THE STRONG AND ABLE SURVIVE!
• Available to work on Saturdays WE LOVE WEEKEND WARRIORS!
• Willing to temporarily relocate to another city during surges in storms WE PRAY FOR HAIL

Pay: $57,054.00 - $91,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:
