Behavior Analyst Job Summary

Illumine Collaborative, LLC is seeking a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) to add to our growing team in Vermont. In this role, you will be a member of multidisciplinary teams that may consist of other board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs), special educators, skills instructors, social workers, related service providers, classroom teachers, parents/guardians and clients.

This position provides a great opportunity to support children and adults in developing skills across a variety of social, emotional and academic skill areas through behavior analytic programs that focus on teaching these skills in a variety of natural settings and activities within their homes, schools and communities.

Behavior Analyst Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive support and direction from the Clinical, Education and Staff Training Directors.
  • Collaborate with the clinical treatment team to ensure effective program development and treatment delivery tailored to the treatment setting
  • Conduct observations, interviews and assessments as needed to inform the development of treatment plans, data collection systems and progress monitoring
  • Develop data-informed treatment plans that meet criteria for varying funding sources using trauma-informed and current evidence-based interventions that are appropriate for the social, emotional and cognitive needs of the client
  • Support and train skills instructors, parents/caregivers and other professionals in implementing the treatment plans through evidence-based strategies such as Behavioral Skills Training (BST) and weekly supervision meetings.
  • Provide accurate narrative and visual data analysis summaries and progress reports based on the criteria from varying funding sources
  • Commit to adhering to the BACB’s current Code of Ethics for Behavior Analysts
  • Attend initial and ongoing professional development trainings as assigned, as well as commit to on-going personal performance improvement through provided feedback and supervision.
  • Provide services in a culturally responsive manner to ensure programming that meets the goals and needs of each client and family.

Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Education, Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Licensure in Vermont is also required
  • Proven work experience providing in home ABA treatment as a direct service provider or BCBA. Experience in school settings is also beneficial.
  • Effective and personable communication skills that are kind and collaborative in nature which include the ability to perspective-take, utilize empathy, use terminology of behavior concepts in an accessible way depending on the audience, provide written procedures and plans that are clear and concise.
  • Must pass all pre-employment criminal and abuse background checks
  • Physical ability necessary to help manage client needs and meet competencies established in the de-escalation and physical management curriculum and training provided
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that meets insurance requirements
  • Willingness to travel between assigned locations.

Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Compensation and Benefits: Benefits available upon date of hire!

  • Biweekly hourly compensation with a starting range of $30-$45 per hour (based on education and/or experience).
  • Flexible schedule based within assigned client’s treatment schedule (within Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm
