Bilingual Human Resources Liaison- Based in Pipestone, MN or Brandon, SD
Job description
Objective: Acclimate new hire employees to American culture, environment, and Pipestone processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- New hire acclimation for employees
- Coordinate living arrangements for Pipestone employees
- Organize start-up checklist for employee: groceries, phone, utilities, laundry
- Provide transportation from the airport to designated housing facility
- Assist with transfer transportation as needed
- Organize travel arrangements- transportation, flights, and hotels
- Conduct new hire paperwork orientations remotely as well as in Office
- Conduct interviews and other recruitment efforts as needed
- Conduct administrative tasks with managed leases
- Performs background checks on employees

Other duties and projects as assigned by Supervisor
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education: AA degree or equal experience
Experience:
- 3-5 years in Human Resources, agriculture related degree.
- Agricultural experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to work farms and attend meetings
- Safe driving record required to meet company insurance requirements
- Some overnight travel
- Flexibility with daily day travel
- Bilingual fluency a plus
- Basic computer knowledge to send/receive emails and reports
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking and ability to be on feet 8 to 10 hours per day
- Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
- Frequent use of one or both hands/arms to grasp or pull
- Frequent lifting of objects weighing 3-20 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to attend and participate in meetings of various lengths
