A busy manufacturer in Laconia, NH is seeking a skilled Benefits Manager on a full-time, direct-hire basis! This role is responsible for researching data on benefits and creating a competitive benefits program that helps to attract and retain employees. Our client is looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of similar experience, three of which in management, for this role.
Responsibilities of the Benefits Manager
- Collect benefits data from various internal and external sources
- Create and implement benefits plan that will help attract and retain employees
- Stay current on benefits trends and implement changes, when necessary
- Stay up to date on applicable regulations and laws
- Identify and work with outside compensation vendors
- Lead open enrollment for benefits
- Perform other tasks and projects, as required
Qualifications of the Benefits Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, finance, business, or related field
- At least seven years of similar experience, three of which in a management role
- Proficient in Excel and in HRIS
- Ability to effectively communicate and listen
- Good negotiating skills
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to effectively lead a team
