The Recovery Support Coach position is dedicated to support nursing and counseling staff in day-to-day operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead group activities to engage and support clients using music, arts, trauma therapy techniques, yoga and more!!
  • Assist with client screening, admission, and discharge, orientation and assessment functions.
  • Use electronic health records (EHR) system effectively and appropriately.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in EHR sufficient to fulfill the duties required by this position is expected within 30 days of employment.
  • Facilitate client orientation, educational and recreational groups.
  • Collect and complete vital signs, urine screens, strip searches and accurately securing and documenting client inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly and stocked unit.
  • Maintain client records and supply of documents on the unit.
  • Ensure client rooms and beds are cleaned and turned over upon discharge of each client.
  • Respond to client crises and emergencies as needed.
  • Participate as needed in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and required training to ensure continuum and quality of care.
  • Assist with quality assurance quarterly reports (i.e., fire drills, safety inspections, building and vehicle reports, etc.)
  • Meet with supervisor(s) on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in medication supervision and surveillance through observing the community in all areas of the property, supervised urinalysis screening and in documenting events that need additional follow up.
  • Perform regularly scheduled bed checks on 3rd shift (every half hour).
  • Serve as a role model through positive, appropriate conduct and participation in special agency events.
  • Project a professional image to the public. Dress in a professional manner.
  • Maintain current CPR/FA certifications and CPI annual training.
  • Transport clients as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Work cooperatively with others and supervisors.
  • Demonstrate patience and consideration in dealing with others.
  • Demonstrate thoughtful decision-making.
  • Ensure client confidentiality in accordance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
