Purpose: To elevate the experience of making coffee to a fashion specialty retailer that takes pride in each drip and juice concoction. The simple idea is: offer each customer the best possible service, quality, value and selection. To bring an artist who takes pleasure in making the perfect late or foaming the perfect “head” in a cup of coffee. To elevate the healthy offering of fresh squeezed juices to best in market.

Job Description: The barista is enthusiastic about producing excellent specialty coffee beverages while working in a fun, fast-paced environment while remaining motivated and committed to providing outstanding guest experience. Professionally trained as bartender this professional is able to play dual rolls. In the morning the entrance smells like rich delicious coffee house, for lunch the display reflects the freshness of the concept and the attention to details that makes the “bar” a center stage in a relaxed sophisticated way. Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking/unlocking doors, etc. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Input orders into cash register system and collect payment from customer. Take orders, record in MICROS system and prepare food and coffee beverages. Ensure that appliances (e.g., coffee makers) are turned on/off at the appropriate times. Maintain bar and stations clean and organized. Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day. Obtain change required for expected business level. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Physical Requirements - (not limited to)

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crawl, reach above and below shoulders, repetitive arm and wrist use, climb ladders and stairs, and walk on uneven surfaces.
  • Must be able to operate motor vehicle using safety precautions.
  • Must be able to recognize, register, and respond visually to color and depth perception.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to work indoor, outdoor, in extreme heat and cold.
  • Must be able to work around moderate noise level.
