The VP of Communications guides decision-making on brand image at regional level. You will lead PR, digital and communication activities across the Region.
Job Description
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
COMMUNICATION
Liaise with HQ to plan integrated 360 PR strategies and ensure execution while respecting budget allocated
Develop and maintain key editors’ relationship
Activate Americas’ media network and maintain a diverse network of contacts amongst key persons in the media
Implement communication plan for product launches, product initiatives, store openings, creating a synergy with retail partners
Manage the communication strategy across a wide range of vehicles (social, print, digital, events, etc.)
Support in the development and execution of external and internal crisis communications strategy and responses
Influence press and media coverage in a tailored way across all outlets and generate new ideas
Support HQ in all VIP relations, in implementing VIP dressing and in sourcing local influencers and submit profiles to HQ
Drive and manage the media agencies to implement global strategy with local needs
Lead marketing actions related to retail events such as store openings, Fashion Week, etc.
Partner with retail stakeholders to plan and execute trade marketing initiatives to maximize business opportunities (windows, catalogs, newsletters, etc.)
Partner with HQ to identify specific market needs and develop campaigns that are tailored to the Americas’ markets and support business needs and opportunities
Monitor and analyze market, business trends and competitors’ activities
Plan and manage annual marketing & communication budget
Manage the planning process including key messaging strategies, marketing and pitch calendars, budgeting, and partnerships
WHO YOU ARE
Relevant experience in designing and implementing strategies related to communication at large.
Able to conceive and drive messages and projects forward
High understanding of luxury environment & highly client oriented
Action oriented paired with solid strategic, analytical, organizational skills (planning and monitoring)
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of communication, and public relations activities at large.
COMPENSATION
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, BALENCIAGA includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $150,000 USD to $200,000 USD.
