The Assistant Manager is the key component of running a successful shop. They are responsible for everything that happens within their four walls. Responsibilities are broken down into two categories: sales and operations.

Sales

  • Build repair estimates based on technician’s recommendations
  • Present options to the customer, overcoming objections as needed
  • Price jobs correctly and limit discounting to hit gross margins goals
  • Attain weekly, monthly and yearly targets
  • Ensure technicians are following all inspection & safety procedures
  • Keep shop payroll within company budget
  • Do whatever it takes to say “yes” to every customer

Operations

  • Bay management
  • Sourcing required parts for repair orders
  • Ensure the image of the staff, interior & exterior meet company standard
  • Accounts receivable and payable
  • Inventory management
  • Staffing & schedule management
  • Enforcing company policy and guidelines
  • Managing technician training and development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per week
