GTP Ltd is delighted to work with a well-respected, multi-doctor practice in Union County, North Carolina which is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian.

Overview

Global Talent Partners is delighted to work with a well-respected, multi-doctor practice in Union County, North Carolina which is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian.

This full time position consists of 35 - 40 hours a week. The practice is seeking an empathetic, confident practitioner to work with small animals, exotics and wildlife animals. If you are community oriented you will love working with rescue and rehabilitation patients.

Experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply as the practice offers mentorship and guidance in a collaborative, learning environment. There is ample opportunity to learn new skills and procedures.

This general practice deals with all aspects of general practitioner medicine, some emergency treatments, and some specialist services such as orthopaedics and acupuncture.

The practice is well equipped with in-house lab, a variety of quality diagnostic tools, large spacious examination rooms, surgical and dental suites, treatment areas, critical ward with isolation room, and dedicated rooms for digital x-ray viewing, therapy laser and ultrasound.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • DVM/VMD/NAVLE degree or equivalent from an accredited university
  • North Carolina State License
  • DEA is ideal
  • USDA/APHIS certification/accreditation is ideal (can be obtained upon hire)
  • A compassionate, empathetic and energetic veterinarian
  • A strong communicator who loves building rapport and long-lasting relationships with clients
  • A person who possesses strong emotional intelligence and is a team player
