The Division of Headache Medicine and Neuro-ophthalmology in the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah is seeking a BC Neurologist with expertise in complex headache disorders at the Associate Professor to Professor level (or equivalent experience), with consideration for being Division Chief. The Division consists of 7 faculty members with a diverse range of clinical and research interests. The candidate should be a nationally visible Headache Medicine expert. Preference is given to candidates who have significant extramural funding.
The University of Utah Headache Clinic has served complex headache disorders with a multi-disciplinary team for over 25 years. We have a dynamic and experienced multi-disciplinary clinical team that serves a wide geographic area.
Primary clinical responsibilities include headache clinic and teaching headache to other providers. This individual will also liaise with Neuro-Ophthalmology. While not required, an interest in clinical research, outcomes research, and mechanistic research into headache disorders is desirable.
