Client Tax & Cost Basis Operations is a part of the Custody & Asset Services division of Operational Services. We are dedicated to leading a culture that delivers timely and accurate tax reporting in our efforts to create a premier client experience, while providing a controlled and focused environment that allows our employees to feel valued and engaged. As part of this mission, the Flex Team Associate plays a critical role by supporting increased volumes across the department.
What you are good at
Maintain process and procedure documents- Support tax form productions by maintaining tax database
- Support cost basis updates by maintaining cost basis database
- Partner with internal business partners to ensure compliance with regulations
- Other duties as assigned
What you have
This role requires strict adherence to the established policies and procedures- Good decision making and sound judgment skills are a must
- Attention to detail to identify and mitigate risk by adhering to department and firm policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and grow working relationships with internal partners
- Identify and communicate issues effectively and timely to peers and leadership
- Ability to multi-task, understand the importance of follow-through
- Have outstanding time management and organization skills
Qualifications:
- Experience with Tax Reporting preferred
- Operations experience preferred
- Experience in coordinating efforts with multiple business partners a plus
