Purpose:
Oversight for all Health & Welfare, Retirement and Voluntary Benefits for the Americas Region.
Strategic oversight for Plan Design, Contracting, Budgeting, and Compliance (reporting/auditing).

Major Accountabilities
  • Manages benefits vendor relationships in benefits administration, renewals, market competitiveness studies, re-marketing efforts, cost reviews and regulatory compliance, etc.
  • Communicates policies, practices and guidelines effectively to all levels of the organization including senior executives
  • Manages Americas Region retirement benefits, including 401(k) and non-qualified plans, end to end
  • Assesses competitiveness of the existing retirement benefits programs; identifies and recommends changes as appropriate
  • Collaborates with all levels across the company to ensure strong partnership and support to other P&O teams, employees, and business clients
  • Ensures on-going audits for internal compliance, enterprise governance, ensuring adherence to local and federal statutes and laws
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately as needed
  • Fosters a culture of collaboration and best practice sharing across the Americas Region organization and globally where it makes sense to do so
  • Participates in Americas Region Rewards team forums, providing counsel and strategic recommendations on regional and global Rewards program design, considering the needs of the region
  • Closely collaborate with regional Rewards Business Partners dedicated to Americas Region and ensure that overall support is seamless as one Rewards function

Minimum requirements

What you will bring to the role:
Education:
 University degree or equivalent professional experience

Languages: 
Excellent English spoken and written

Experience:
  • 8+ years of applicable experience in Benefits administration including health & welfare, retirement preferred
  • Benefits Management outside of US Region a plus!
  • Knowledge of benefits practices and industry trends
  • Strong business experience across the full lifecycle of business activities, including:
o Strategy build out and development
o Mergers/Acquisitions/ Alliances/JV
o Restructuring & Divestments
o Creation of business cases, budgeting and resource allocation procedures
o Use of data to drive decision making
  • Proven change agent with significant project and program experience

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $136,800 and $205,200/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/22 through 12/31/22, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
