Job Description: On-Site Data/Property Manager

The Data Manager (DM) is an engineering support function role performing activities that include:

  • CDRL/SDRL Management – Assist in ensuring contract deliverables are provided to the customer on time, adhere to contract requirements, and are of high quality. Maintain the delivery schedule and coordinate with team members to provide inputs and communicate deadlines. Assist program team members in documentation formatting. adhering to internal standards, formatting requirements, and contract authorization. Ensure correct and complete markings on all documentation.
  • Documentation Formatting - Ensure program documentation adheres to internal standards, formatting requirements, and contract authorization. Ensure correct and complete markings on all documentation. Apply and track control numbers or other identifiers as required.
  • Data Handling and Transfer - Manage all communication (incoming and outgoing) with the customer, log and track messages, maintain folder structures, facilitate the transfer of data between different networks and systems, media burning, file scanning, and file uploading.
  • Data Entry – Input data into configuration management tool systems, ensure complete and accurate records, facilitate the correction of any errors or missing data.
  • Poperty Management – Tracking of incoming and outgoing accountable governemnt property. Physical tagging and removal of tags from equipment, assisting with annual inventory checks.
  • Other functional support as assigned to assist the execution of engineering activities.

Essential Functions:

  • Must have excellent attention to detail, organizational and strong communication skills.
  • Develop and maintain program processes and documentation as required.
  • Experience supporting internal and/or external customers.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 1 years of prior related experience.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expert time management ability and sense of urgency in meeting critical deadlines
  • Willing to work overtime and/or outside of normal business hours as needed to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work individually and as a team member to achieve team objectives
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Visio
  • Able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Preferred:

  • Associates degree in a technical or business-related discipline
  • Experience working in a fast-paced continuous change / agile engineering environment
  • Experience using Data/Property Management tools (e.g., Sunflower, Excel, Clearquest)
  • Public Trust Clearance
  • Experience supporting internal and/or external customers.
