Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Project Manager Environmental Assistant, we'll count on you to:

  • Coordinate environmental work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager
  • Take responsibility for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project
  • Define the level of environmental analysis required
  • Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule
  • Collect project-related data, which may include research, leading field surveys for threatened and endangered species and wetland delineations, map reviews, etc.
  • Write or review environmental reports.
  • Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, GIS, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
  • Perform other related duties as needed

Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science or closely related field
  • 5 years related experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experienced in MS Office Suite
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • USFWS Permit for various species
  • Experience supervising staff, leading wetland delineations, and preparing proposals
  • Experience in regulatory agency consultation
