Buyer's Assistant

About Niagara Distributors:

In business for over 40 years, Niagara is a distributor and exporter of dry and frozen food with a unique focus on the Baking Industry. We service our customers from our distribution center strategically located in Hollywood, FL, USA. Our customers include independent grocers, independent and chain supermarkets, foodservice distributors, delis, bakeries, convenience stores, on-line retail platforms, cafes and restaurants in the State of Florida. We have an extensive product list with over 1,500 SKU's and carry niche brands such as RICHMOND BAKING, KEEBLER, CARAVAN, ABEL & SCHAFFER, PILLSBURY, BAKE'N JOY, ROYAL, NABISCO, RICH'S, JWA, BENSDORP-CALLEBAUT, MERCKENS, COUNTRY HOME, COOKIES UNITED, LAND O LAKES, LA ROSA, HENRY & HENRY.

Position Summary:

The buyer’s assistant is the most important position at Niagara distributors.

The buyer’s assistant will assist the current president with any tasks she needs. These include export/import, lot control, inventory control, assisting with purchasing, and other clerical tasks.

This position has room for upwards mobility to become the senior purchaser.
