SHIFT: Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

This role is considered a temporary assignment, with benefits, beginning immediately and anticipated to end on 1/31/2024, subject to business conditions. If, at the end of that period, you have not obtained another position within BD, your employment will terminate and you will be eligible for severance benefits per the Severance Plan currently in effect.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strips products off of formers.

• Places form racks on to trucks.

• Wash forms in truck washer.

• Keeps product sets intact.

• Verify bundles per set.

• Lifts approximately 150 racks daily weighing up to 35 lbs. each. Must be able to place racks as high as 76” onto trucks.

• Must have ability to read and understand written instructions (BOPs, DHRs, and component tickets).

• Must have ability to keep accurate records.

• Must follow all GMP/BOP guidelines.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area as outlined in the GMPs.

• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High School diploma or GED

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

• Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Accurately able to measure weight, volume and temperature.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK REQUIREMENTS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms; use hands or arms (to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls). The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with the assistance of drum moving equipment.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is not subjected to noise above OSHA levels without providing hearing protection, which will attenuate the noise to less than 85 db.

• The Personal Protective Equipment required to perform this job safely includes safety glasses, vinyl gloves, and appropriate shoes.
