Position Title: Assembler - 1st Shift
Wage: $17/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 5am-3pm

- Work as a part of a team in the manufacturing and assembly of windows
- Assemble an entire unit or component of a unit
- Wrap, label, and load windows for delivery
- Unload windows from crates and carts to the machines
- Apply hardware and weather strip to vinyl frames using a hand drill/tools
- Package for secure shipment all types and sizes of windows
- Unload window from the machine back onto a crate or cart
- Assist and remove windows from the crates and carts and load them into the trucks for delivery
- Frequent use of nail guns, mitre saw, drill, screw gun, caulking gun and hand tools
- Occasional use of shapers and utility knives
- Operate saws to cut and trim vinyl parts to size
- Operate clamp machine to assemble metal and wood frame together
- Keep work area cleaned and organized
- High school diploma or GED Shop floor or factory assembly experience
- Frequent lifting and carrying of 30-40lbs, occasional lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, occasional lifting up to 75lbs working with one or more crewmembers where communication and teamwork is essential
- Occasional to frequent lifting and carrying of glass and occasional lifting and carrying of assembled windows
- Occasional to constant walking, standing, twisting, bending, and grasping with hands
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Work in hot and humid condition in the summer and cooler conditions in the winter
- Work in dusty and loud environment
- Promote and follow all safety standards and commitment to company values
