JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The senior analyst will be part of the business analytics group and support various activities within the group. The business analytics group is responsible for maintaining business leader relationships, planning and prioritizing products, and coordinating the delivery of analytics products by working with business leaders and other parts of the analytics organization. The senior analyst will support the senior manager, business analytics and four business analytics managers by providing analysis, plans, forecasts, and other materials to achieve the objectives of the group.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate with the four Managers, Business Analytics to maintain a detailed pipeline of analytics ideas with multiple attributes including: idea name, description, business owner, alignment with strategic objectives, complexity, cost, risks, and benefits.
  • Participate in planning sessions with business leaders to identify and describe analytics ideas to support the business.
  • Summarize and organize complex information arising from multiple business planning sessions, ensuring the information accurately reflects the discussion and decisions that occurred during the sessions.
  • Facilitate prioritization meetings with analytics and business leaders to help assess and rank various analytics ideas.
  • As needed, develop reports, dashboards, forecasts, and roadmaps to support the operation of the business analytics team.
  • Facilitate process mapping and change management sessions with analytics and business SMEs to help identify change management and training requirements.
  • Assist in developing documentation for change management and training requirements as part of analytics product development cycles.
  • Help identify and manage anticipated resistance to process changes through coaching, advising and training with business SMEs along side analytics SMEs.
  • Mentor junior analysts in project management, goal setting and other related areas.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience. Desired: Master's Degree.

Minimum experience required of the position
At least 6 years of professional experience.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
