Activity Coordinator: After-School Teacher (Part-Time)

Are you interested in working in the Education field? To educate, engage, and enrich a student’s day through learning? Or maybe you’re just a “big kid” at heart?

We are currently hiring After-School Teachers (Activity Coordinators) in our After-School / School Age Programs located in Amherst, Williamsville, Orchard Park, Alden, and Batavia.

After-School Teachers are the heart and soul of our program and are responsible for implementing organized lessons and activities to support students' learning and engagement. Our students rely on you to show up with a positive attitude, active body and be ready to play play play.

Other Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming learning space and implement planned lessons with students.
• Ensuring the rooms, and program spaces, are clean and organized throughout the day.
• Program and surrounding spaces are clean at the time of closing.

Hours: Availability for After School Teachers are as follows:

• Shift: Monday-Friday
• School Year: 1:00 pm-6:00 pm
• Summer Program: 7:00 am-6:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma and/or working towards a degree in Early Childcare Education or a related field.
• Experience working in childcare, with children, and/or in an educational setting
• Customer service and/or previous work experiences
