Administrative Coordinator (Logistics Department)

Hours: Ability to work the following shift

Thurs-Sat

5:pm-6am

Rotating Sundays on any of the Shifts listed.

Pay 15.00

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments using Sage system
  • Create production batches through Sage system based on the production schedule for the corresponding shift
  • Prepare paperwork; BOL, Manifests, Pick Tickets and Analytics for shipments
  • Compare identifying information; counts, weighs, and/or measured items of outgoing Finished Goods shipments and verify information against bills of lading, manifests, pick tickets, or other records for accuracy on each shipment
  • Contact drivers that are waiting for finished loads
  • Correctly receiving raw material loads for production use
  • Manage trailer inventory and assign empties for production and carriers
  • Guide production staff on daily run schedule, work closely with the Shipping/Receiving Department and Production to ensure accuracy of all finished product shipments
  • Maintain Yard Report to assure that raw material is being consumed properly
  • Direct incoming calls to the appropriate SRSC staff member
  • Check finished goods basket to make sure that loads are picked up as scheduled
  • Monitor service providers to ensure company/customer service requirements are met

Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Essential Functions:

  • Promotes the company’s quality initiatives to bring the company in compliance with all our government regulatory & quality requirements
  • Maintain adherence to all corporate policies and procedures as defined by SRSC guidelines.
  • Review the customer service orders daily to plan weekly and daily shipping plans to ensure In-Time to Customer goal, Maintain the weekly shipping plan and update as needed.
  • Stay in constant communication with Shift Supervisor to verify that schedule is being met

Attention to detail skills is a must

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must have great communication skills, verbally and through email

Flexibility is a plus

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Outlook.
