: Responsible for assisting with all aspects of the daily operations of the Physician Group Practice (Highland Medical). This position will be the main contact for medical records requests, physician insurance credentialing, physician malpractice coverage, and assisting with practice site management. Responsible for maintaining an organized credentialing process, vendor and purchase order process, on-boarding process and assisting the Associate Vice President of Physician Practice Management with administrative duties as needed.


Qualifications

Education: High School graduate; Associates degree preferred. Experience: Two to three years’ experience in a healthcare environment, preferably a medical office or hospital setting. Must have a general understanding of medical office procedures, invoices, credentialing, working with hospital departments. Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Excel Spreadsheets, databases and PowerPoint presentations. Must be able to take minutes, write correspondence and effectively present information to the Physicians, Physician extenders, patients, patient family members, and employees of the medical practice or hospital departments. Training/Certification: Notary Public a plus. Licensure: N/A Other: Employee must be able to create short correspondence, and memos and effectively present information to physicians, physician extender(s), patients, patient family members, and employees of the medical practice or hospital department. Employee must be proficient in using Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
