Summary
Under general supervision, this role completes a variety of clerical/administrative activities supporting company-wide disbursement processing.
Key Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable Technician position involves multiple dimensions and responsibilities including:
- Invoice Identification
- Routing invoices to the correct Simplot Approver & Location
- Researching Invoice and Vendor history and payment methods
- Matching and processing purchase orders to the correct receipts for payment
- Manual Check, ACH, and Wire payment runs
Typical Education
High school diploma/GED required
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
Other Information
- 3 years+ related experience and/or training
- Possess a thorough understanding of assigned accounting related functions (i.e. A/P, A/R)
- Able to operate general business machines such as computer, calculator, fax and similar office equipment efficiently and accurately
- Perform routine mathematical calculations
- Able to accurately complete high volume of work within specified time frames
- Must be punctual and have regular attendance
