This position is responsible for the processing of manufacturer payable invoices and statement reconciliation. The function is to ensure prompt and accurate posting, correct invoice coding and monthly statement reconciliation. The Manufacturer Processor will support the dealerships with questions and issue resolution. They will also help enforce AP policies and procedures; review internal controls and support organization initiatives to meet the business and operational goals.
Essential Responsibilities
- Invoice retrieval, coding, and posting
- Statement reconciliation
- AP Resolution – respond timely to vendor inquiry and requests
- Multitask between various systems and navigate quickly and accurately
- Partner with stores for physical inventories
- Responsible for maintaining low aging on reconciling items
- Responsible for continuous assessment and determination of appropriate processes, policies and procedures and recommends changes for improvement
- Promotes cross functional collaboration and accountability
- Ensures Accounts Payable control and compliance to SOX & Accounts Payable Policies & Procedures
- Perform month end close duties relating to DSS Accounts Payable as well as other reporting requirements
Essential Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, use of formulas, data conversion tools.
- Proficient in Adobe, understand and be able to modify and save documents
- Proficient with automated reconciliation software and methods
- Organized with digital and paper archiving methods
- Ability to communicate with personnel effectively via email, phone.
- Previous Experience reconciling weekly, semi -monthly, and/or monthly accounts preferred.
- Previous experience with CDK system preferred
- Previous automobile dealership experience strongly preferred.
- Must be able to work in team environment
- Must be self- directed and able to prioritize
- Must be able to process large volumes of invoices accurately and timely
