Accounting Manager – Saint George, UTFull Job Description
Specialized Communication Services, LLC (SCS), a Local Underground Utility Construction Contractor, is looking to hire a full time Accounting Manager at our Saint George, UT location. An Accounting Manager will handle projects of various complexities and perform construction accounting and clerical duties. We are looking for a full time Accounting Manager to wear multiple hats and work directly for the company owners and our Corporate parent company, Crestone Services Group.
Requirements/Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
- 3 years of construction industry accounting experience or related industry
- Knowledge/experience with Computer Ease Software a plus
- Microsoft Office knowledge required
- Very detail oriented with passion for getting things right the first time
- Excellent time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to be a self starter and work alone on and off throughout the day
- Works well in a small business environment experiencing large growth
- Month End closing of the books
- Work with Corporate office to ensure books are accurate
- Ability to record and understand journal entries
- Process Certificates of Insurance
- Bank reconciliations
- 1099 processing
- Processing A/P and A/R daily
- Issuing PO numbers to vendors and employees
