Job Summary:
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for day-to-day management and execution of multiple medium projects and large or extra-large projects through the project lifecycle. The experienced Project Manager will be responsible for planning coordinating driving for results and monitoring projects in line with the implementation of key strategic initiatives to meet organizational goals. The PM is responsible for articulating project status and managing expectations. The PM will work collaboratively with functional business areas to achieve agreed project objectives milestones and deliverables and ensure implemented solutions are of quality. The PM can be assigned to assist in advising / coaching the work of team members filling PM role responsibilities. In this role you will maintain the efficiency of the project management process planning scheduling budget tracking and risk assessments for projects related to process improvement business optimization and process automation.
Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or related field is preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred. 5+ years of professional program/project management experience or relevant industry experience including managing multiple projects across cross-functional disciplines.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex business problems through fact gathering business process mapping and data analysis
  • Must be a team player; demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving skills; able to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication presentation and organization skills both verbal and written with all levels ranging from staff to senior executives as well as strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities including multiple projects demands and re-prioritize as necessary to align with changing business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of the internal controls framework (COSO).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements Reviews work plans and provides feedback on barriers/opportunity
  • Plays key role in planning and resource management Coordinates with internal and external customers to complete project within timelines.
  • Management of complex initiatives and oversight of project progress and quality.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent internal relationships including demonstrated track record of directly interfacing with high-level executives.
  • Developing meaningful insights from data opinions observations interviews and facilitated workshops.
  • Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Developing clear milestones to measure against time boxing work as appropriate.
  • Managing scope budget and resources on in-flight projects while identifying and mitigating any associated risks.
  • Quickly identifying business drivers and prioritizing efforts.
  • Managing project delivery with a sense of urgency while holding teams accountable for delivering work against project plan.

  • Actively participates as a role model and advising / coaching the work of other Project Leader and PM team members on deep technical/subject matter expertise. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
