Job Summary:
The Accounting Senior Analyst will work in partnership with the premium and finance departments to ensure revenue impacting premium processes are working at optimum levels. This includes on-going maintenance of cash receipts, reconcile and maintain the Unapplied Cash monthly, and completion and compliance of all Premium accounting controls. It also includes the of day to day engagement of cash flow activity from posting to journal entry processes, as well as establishing controls necessary for internal and external audits.

Job Responsibilities:
Completion of the monthly unapplied cash reconciliation

Prepare files to tie sub ledger to the general ledger for premium cash activity

Review and research all unapplied cash and communicate corrections to the team

Reconcile approved account credits to ensure properly applied

Maintain compliance of the suspense account and revenue reporting

Prepare monthly adjustment report and research bankruptcy notifications

Collaborate with Accounting and Premium team on month end controls and reporting

Participate in yearly audits to ensure cash compliance and SOX controls

Ability to effectively communicate with premium and finance leads

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent work experience required

Minimum 2 years of Accounting and or Finance or related experience require

Experience with Accounts Payables and Receivables a plus

Knowledge of Diamond and Oracle systems is a plus

Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Access knowledge (proficiency with V-Lookup, pivot tables and formulas)

Strong analytical skills to interpret and evaluate financial results

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with tight deadlines

Motivated, proactive self-starter who takes ownership and is results oriented

Team player who can also work independently when needed

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 58,400 - 97,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
