- Hours: 3:50 pm - 12:00 am; Monday - Friday
This Printing Department Machine Operator position assists with setting up, running, maintaining and breaking down the binding machine. In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Operate a binding machine
- Make glue to desired color and strength, making sure glue flows freely to the glue roller
- Weigh books to ensure 50 are in each bundle
- Perform maintenance on binder machine, including blade changes, machine greasing, replace broken/worn parts; makes necessary machine adjustments
- Inspect work for quality
