The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme is looking for dedicated staff that are interested in making the difference in the lives of our Youth at our After School Programs!

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• *High School diploma/GED
• *Experience working w/ children ages 6-12 (very important)
• *Knowledge of Youth Development
• *Ability to manage behavior problems - have classroom management skills
• *Ability to deal with the general public
• *Ability to plan and implement quality lesson plans for youth
• *Ability to supervise a large group of children and coordination of their activities in a safe environment
• *Ability to work in a team environment and have a positive, energetic attitude
• *Mandatory CPR and First Aide Certification (Can obtain through Club)
• *Background clearance and TB Test will be required for employment
• *Ability to take and pass paraprofessional test
• *Available Monday - Friday from 12:00pm - 6:00pm
• *Please indicate if you have prior work experience in sports, music and/or music
• *Bilingual is a plus!
