Job description
- Bachelor’s degree in education, therapeutic recreation, human services or related field.
- Three years of experience working with and supporting individuals with special needs.
- Three years of experience working with school-age youth in a leadership role
- Mentorship/Supervision of staff.
- Experience preparing and conducting inservices and trainings.
- Experience with families from diverse cultures (preferred)
- Experience with Early Childhood and/or preschool (preferred)
- Coordinate and implement behavior plans, modifications and accommodations for students with special needs at multiple schools in the district for the Kids' SAFARI program.
- Serve as a program-wide inclusion resource
- Develop, plan and implement inclusion trainings for the staff.
- Co-supervise the inclusion staff at sites.
- Participate in district’s Youth and Family team
