Job Summary/Basic Function
This is an 80% position. Provide assistance in the development and maintenance of the Facilities Services Department (FSD) infrastructure as well as data analysis and reporting. Compile and/or analyze related work order information and prepare Power BI reports for management as requested. Provide user feedback and bug reports in Power BI. Participate in analysis and documentation of functional business requirements to design, develop, deliver, and implement effective applications. Assist to review and recommend improvements to Facilities Services work unit procedures, including communications, accurate and timely reporting. Support existing Argos reports on work order and Banner financial information. Provide basic desktop support for FSD as needed. Perform other related tasks or special projects as assigned.
Required Education
An Associate’s degree or equivalent college coursework in Information Technology or a related field required. Certificate to include course work in PowerBI may be considered in lieu of Associate’s degree requirement.
Required Related Experience
One year experience in data analytics and/or report writing required.
Desirable Related Experience
- SQL queries a plus
- Argos reporting a plus
- ETL and API experience a strong plus.
- Four years progressively responsible related experience in maintenance and construction setting preferred.
