The Junk Specialist / Driver is responsible for driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) as well as removing, and disposing of unwanted goods from customers’ homes and businesses.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely, responsibly, and professionally operates the commercial motor vehicle (junk truck) and monitors their functionality
• Completes all haul-a-way / Junk removal related paperwork and responsible for making sure paperwork and revenues collected are properly dropped in safe at the end of the work day
• Organizing and securing truck at the end of each job and ensures truck and equipment is maintained in a clean, safe and professional manner
• Conduct pre/post trip truck inspections and “haul-a-way / junk removal equipment inventory
• Safely remove any unwanted items from the customers home or business by utilizing all of the proper hauling equipment and techniques and following the necessary prescribed policies
• Must be in a clean, approved TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® uniform at all times without exception
• Maintain a positive image of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® by ensuring proper hygiene

Job Requirements

• Provide exceptional customer service as you safely complete the removal of junk or unwanted items
• Greet customer upon arriving at the specified location and complete a walk-through of the premises
• Communicate professionally in English; comfortably interact with customers
• Safely move the unwanted items by utilizing proper moving equipment and techniques
• Accurately complete junk removal paperwork with the customer; ensure correct payments are calculated and collected at the end of each move
• Educate customers about pricing and services. Be able to price jobs correctly and confidently to meet or exceed goals
• Strong problem-solving skills and solution oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift and carry up to 150 lbs.
• Safely operate the trucks, container drops and pick ups
• Communicate with management and make best route decisions provided by daily schedule
• Be able to lift heavy items and remove them from residential or commercial properties
• Distribute marketing materials as needed determined by driver and management

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
