Monarch Landing is looking for a part-time Wellness Coordinator for our premier retirement community fitness center in Naperville, IL. The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for overseeing wellness and fitness programs and activities. The Wellness Coordinator uses educational experience and training combined with independent judgment to ensure quality in all areas of the Fitness Center, including but not limited to, exercise program design, fitness testing, customer service, group and aquatic exercise, and other Fitness Center and/or departmental initiatives. The Wellness Coordinator is also responsible for supervising group fitness instructors and completing administrative duties.
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience required, preferably in designing, implementing and evaluating fitness programs for seniors.
- Associate's Degree in Health Education/Physical Education or a related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Group exercise instructor certification, CPR certification (required)
Salary: From $25.00 per hour
