Overview

Leadership position within a team structured environment. This position is responsible for oversight of welding functions, welders, and potentially increased responsibility in the shop. This position can be a direct weld team lead or a multi-function shop supervisor.

Responsibilities

· Manage Weld Team

· Planning/Scheduling Work and Assigning Personnel

· Develop and Evaluate Welding Procedures

· Annual Performance Evaluations

· Monitor Quality and Performance

· Managing and Training Personnel

· Project Management

· Keeping Inventory and Ordering Consumables

Qualifications

· 5+ Years experience with GTAW and GMAW

· 2+ Years in a leadership role

· Knowledge of welding codes and standards

· Ability to interpret drawings and welding symbols

· Able to comprehend various welding processes and equipment

· Preferred – Robot experience, spotweld experience, other knowledge of fabricating equipment and processes

· Preferred – Trade School Certification / College Education

Compensation & Benefits

· Salaried position – TBD based on fit/experience

· 80 Hours of PTO year 1, 120 hours of PTO year 2

· 8 Paid Holidays Annually
