Welder

Adhere to all safety rules and regulations along with the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures. Lay out, align, fit and weld fabricated steel components to assemble structural forms. Assemble structures such as pallet rack, cantilever rack, portable rack systems, industrial steel containers, and industrial guard railing. Read blueprints and weld assemblies to comply with engineering standards. Enter accurate quantities, material used and time in MD link. Bolt, clamp, and tack - weld parts to secure in position for welding. Set up equipment and weld parts by hand on automatic MIG welding equipment. Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and welding as required. Maintains baseline production rates. Operate forklift to safely move materials. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to read a tape measure.

Machine Operator

Operate fabricating machines such as cutoff saw, roll, brake, press, forming machine, and spinning machine and punch to cut, bend, and shape all sorts of steel. Analyze work orders and read blueprints to determine information such as material to be used and types and sequence of operations to be used for fabrication. Report accurate quantities, materials used and time in MD Link. Read job specs to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Set stops and guides to specified lengths as indicated by scale, rule, or template. Position workplace against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade. Push buttons or pedals to activate machine. Observe machine operation to detect and prevent work piece defects or machine malfunction. Measure work pieces’ dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece. Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machine, dies, or work pieces when needed. Assist in machine set up. Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces. Performs other duties as assigned/required. Must be able to read tape measure.

Lineman

Analyze work orders and read blueprints to determine information such as material to be used and types and sequence of operations to be used for fabrication. Report accurate quantities, materials used and time in MD Link. Read job specs to determine material quantity requirements. Count number of items to be banded to verify number specified on work order. Unwind plastic or metal banding from reel, wrap band around stack or bundle, insert loose end of banding into strapping tool and cinch, crimp and clamp banding material with strapping tool to secure items for shipping. Count and record number of banded bundles. Operate Overhead crane/hoist. Prepare and apply lumber and other reinforcement material to protect bundles during shipment or storage. Manually stack bundled articles on pallet. Wrap protective material around bundled product making sure it is sealed. Weigh and label products by marking size of article, customer name, order number, address and other identifying data on visible portion of bundle or shipping ticket. Record information into MD Link. Pack special arrangements of product. Inspect material, product and containers at each step of the packaging process. Hang product on paint line. Mix proper chemicals to create solution for cleaning the product and hand clean the product if needed. Transfer chains to the welding department when needed. Move product for the painter; Move product into proper storage areas. Load product onto trucks for shipments. Must be able to read tape measure.
