About Us:

Our goal is to change the way seniors are cared for, by addressing their needs beyond the basics and taking care of the "whole" person. Our guiding principle is not just to be a team of caregivers, but a resource for clients and their families to truly help them live their best life. In turn, we give our caregivers the best tools, training, support and the resources to not only provide the highest level of care, but to enjoy a rewarding and positive career. Today's caregivers can become tomorrow's leaders as we grow in size and scope. We hope that this idea excites you and that you will consider ComForCare of Seattle-Bellevue as your new home.

Position Description:

ComForCare Home Care, one of the most rapidly growing home care companies in the Seattle area, is seeking a "swiss army knife" employee who is equally adept at and willing to provide administrative support and serve as an on-call home care caregiver. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and interested in learning new skills and growing with our company as we continue to add clients and build our caregiver team. Future growth will offer the chance to take a leadership role either in the office or with our caregiver team.

The position provides a guaranteed 32 hours per week and the potential most weeks for a full 40 hours or more between fill in caregiving and the administrative assistant role within the office. The schedule would be Friday through Monday, 8 hours per day, with weekend shifts being done remotely at home using a company provided laptop and cell phone. The role will include triaging call-offs during weekend shifts and filling those shifts if replacement caregiver cannot be found. At present we do not have any NOC shifts but availability for overnight shifts is required. The compensation will include both an hourly rate for all time spent in either administrative assistant role or as a caregiver, and will also include a weekly on call bonus of $100 per weekend, or $150 per weekend if we have any active overnight shifts. Our clients have a wide variety of needs from companion care to complete personal care for hospice patients, so experience is a must.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced caregiver to both support our rapid growth, but also someone who is interested in being part of our future and the opportunity to put their stamp on what ComForCare will become over the next few years. This person will have the opportunity to learn all facets of the business, including recruiting, training, client relations, regulatory needs, and many other areas. We will encourage and seek out ideas and input as we continue to build our client and caregiver programs.
