Job Summary:
The Engineer is a member of the LVHN Software Development team that builds custom software, enterprise portals, APIs and websites. In this role, the Engineer will create and support new custom Mulesoft API's and support the Anypoint platform on CloudHub. Provides expert level functional knowledge to subordinate workers in producing work deliverables in support of project initiatives in the area(s) of specialization. Develops or modifies procedures to solve complex problems in their area(s) of specialization. Collaborates closely with business and/or functional area(s) to assist the user in defining their needs. Must have the ability to work collaboratively in project teams where business needs are evolving and changing. Ability to work in a newly agile environment is required.

Education - Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields or
  • number of years of experience as defined in the Work Experience Preferred

Education - Preferred:

  • Master's Degree Information Sciences and Technology or Information Management related fields

Experience - Required:

  • 7 years progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology
  • 3 years writing and maintaining software for web applications, portals, or websites

Experience - Preferred:

  • 10 years progressive experience in Information Management or Information Technology
  • 3 years writing and maintaining software for web applications, portals, or websites

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:

  • Highly proficient in one or more software languages (ex. Java, ASP.Net, JavaScript).
  • Expert-level MuleSoft development experience in providing technical leadership on Anypoint Platform integration projects.
  • Expert level experience in implementing CI/CD process for MuleSoft applications
  • Experience developing MUnit Test cases
  • Hands-on data modeling/data design experience, and relational database experience including SQL queries and reporting
  • Expert level experience in developing Mule Flows, Dev-Kit Connector and Raml API, API Gateway
  • Knowledgeable in one or more databases (ex. SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
  • Knowledge in one or more software frameworks (ex. Spring Boot, Angular, React).
  • Knowledge in one or more web server technologies (ex: Tomcat, IIS).
  • Attention to detail and ability to assess business problems and develop feasible alternative solutions.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and to be self motivated and self disciplined.
  • In depth knowledge of processes of assigned area(s), applications, and technologies.
  • Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities.
  • Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision and/or direction.

  • Implement and consume REST and SOAP web services using latest version of Mulesoft
  • Configure and deploy Mule applications to CloudHub
  • Hands-on data modeling/data design experience, and relational database experience including SQL queries and reporting

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Preferred:

  • Knowledge in one or more portal/CMS products (ex. Liferay, WordPress, Drupal).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve simple web software performance issues.
  • Ability to architect secure, high-available, and resilient software.
  • Ability to design, build, and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience working with CICD tools (ex: Jenkins, Git) as part of the SDLC.
  • Knowledge and experience with EMR systems like Epic.
  • Configures and supports CloudHub
  • Create and configure flows, sub-flows, and flow processing strategies for reusability and performance
  • Create automated unit tests for all code and overall create testable code so QA can automate
